Rwanda Outreach
Because we are members of the Anglican Mission in the Americas (AMiA), we have a particular debt to and love for Rwanda and the Anglican province of Rwanda.
Sister-2-Sister — We are in a sister-2-sister relationship with Gahima parish in Kibungo Diocese and are in the midst of praying through how to deepen that relationship. Thus far Pastor Matt has visited the diocese and parish to strengthen our relationships, and we will deepen those ties this year.
At the moment we are specifically helping to fund homes for Rwandan refugees in Kibungo Diocese forced out of their homes in Tanzania.
We plan to explore some short-term missions trips soon, as well as begin to sponsor children in and around the parish through Compassion International.
Buy Great Coffee — We sell and promote Land of a Thousand Hills (LOTH) coffee. This is an on-the-ground ministry of post-genocide reconciliation and sustainable living … and great coffee!
Bishop Laurent Mbanda — Newly consecrated bishop of Shyria Diocese, Laurent Mbanda is a friend of Holy Trinity. Bishop Mbanda left Compassion International as an Area Director to become a bishop, and we support him in prayer and financially. We can provide opportunity for anyone who wishes to support Bishop Mbanda directly.
Please let the office (holytrinityac@gmail.com) know if you would like to help support Bishop Mbanda.
